A late Gothic mortar with a "house mark"

Thickly cast golden brown bronze with dark brown patina. Of slender, tapering form with a broad, stepped base. Decorated with several bands of moulding and a shield with the "house mark" on the display side. With two small, faceted handles. The base slightly concave due to usage and with minor cracks, the surface slightly dented. H 24.2, D 22 cm, weight c. 9.6 kg.
