An extensive Meissen porcelain tea and coffee service with bird motifs

42-piece service comprising a coffee and tea pot, tea caddy, sugar box - all with original lids - a scalloped dish, a slop bowl, 12 round cups, six beakers and 18 saucers. All items decorated with blue scale-pattern borders and fanciful exotic birds. Blue crossed swords mark, various impressed marks, painter's mark "92." in purple. Some minor chips, one lid with a glued breakage, one beaker with a restoration to the rim. H coffee pot 16 cm.
