Four eglomisé panels with scenes from the life of Christ

Depicting scenes from the Passion. Mounted together in an ebonised wood frame. The depiction of the Flagellation with a horizontal crack. H 17.6, W 32.2 cm.
Bohemia or Austria, last third 17th / early 18th C.

The depiction of the Flagellation may be based on the famous group attributed to Alessandro Algardi or François du Quesnoy, and that of St. Veronica on the painting by Frans Francken (Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen - Staatsgalerie im Schloss Johannisburg Aschaffenburg, inv. no. 6279).
