An Empire "Psyche" mirror

Solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, ormolu mountings, mirror pane and replaced green silk cover on the reverse. Twisting mirror with triangular gable and numerous ormolu appliques on curved supports with casters. In pristine restored condition. H 198, W 97, D 58 cm.
Paris, around 1810, this model attributed to François-Honoré-Georges Jacob-Desmalter.
