Pen and ink drawing over pencil on firm chamois-coloured paper with watermark 'JWZAND[ER]'. 49.5 x 51.2 cm. Signed 'Hubboch' lower right and signed verso in pencil, titled and numbered '"NICHT MAL NE HALBE STUNDE HAT MAN ZEIT ZUM FRESSEN" Nr.13 1925' in pen and ink, inscribed 'Aus dem Buch "La France"' and with artist's address in Karlsruhe. With original box, there dated '1930'. Drawing for the book by Karl Hubbuch, La France, with 40 illustrations, self-published in Karlsruhe in 1931 in an edition of 100.
