A large silver lidded cup. Canton. Late 19th century

The spherical body with two large dragon handles supported on a shaft encircled by a dragon, above a foot displaying two miniature pagodas, the domed lid surmounted by a miniature pagoda with two winged dragons. To the outside of the body and the lid four panels with dragons and figures in a landscape in repoussé and engraving. Gilding to the inside. Stamped CS (Cumshing) and Daji. Weight 2264 g.
