A rhinoceros horn libation cup. 18th century

In form of an archaic bronze drinking vessel of jue type, on three slender everted legs with a keyfret border around its outer rim, the body carved in shallow relief with with playing chi dragons on a keyfret ground and a ground of stylised waves in variously shaped reserves. Damaged.
