Shen Chu (1729-1799), in the manner of

Calligraphy: "Picture of the Peach Blossom Studio (Taohua shuwu tu)". Ink on paper. Inscribed Yunhai daxiong shu, inscribed Shen Chu and sealed Shen Chu zhi yin and Yun Jiao and a third seal. Glazed and framed.

Shen Chu wrote this calligraphy for his "elder brother Yunhai". Yunhai was an alternative name of Wu Daji (1768-1817). During his term of office in Beijing Wu Daji had the characters "taohua shuwu tu" carved into a stone panel which was in his home at that time. It is now in the Xin'an beiyuan of the Shexian Museum in Huangshan, Anhui province, China.
