A pair of French Art Déco 18k gold coral enamel and diamond ladybird clip earrings.

The wings of carved orange coral (corallium rubrum) set with six brilliant- and 8/8-cut diamonds, the head and legs picked out in black enamel. With hinged clip/stud mounts. Hallmarks: Parisian "tête d'aigle". "Cartier Paris", maker's mark, numbered 0993. Minor losses and wear to the enamel. One of the back wing tips slightly chipped. 1.7 x 1.9 cm. Total weight 13.26 g.
