A Meissen porcelain teapot with Chinoiserie decor

Decorated with two finely painted Chinoiserie scenes in gilt strapwork cartouches with purple lustre ground. With later lid. Blue crossed swords mark with pronounced pommels, 87. in gold (pot and lid). A smooth rim chip to the pot. H 12.7 cm.
C. 1730 - 35, decorated in the workshop of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
