An ivory okimono netsuke of Sôjôbo and Ushiwakamaru. Second half 19th century

The king of the tengu, Sôjôbo, and Ushiwakamaru with a scroll sitting inside a large egg on a bizarre rockwork base. Sôjôbo's cap and the end knobs of the scroll of black horn. Signed Shûzan saku in a double-contoured reserve.
