An Ayutthaya bronze figure of a Buddha. Thailand. 15th /16th century

Standing with the right hand held in abhayamudra, the left hand hanging down, the uttarasangha covering both shoulders, clinging close to the body and spreading out to both sides. Head and ushnisha are covered by spiky curls, the eyes lowered in meditation and the mouth shaped into a mild smile. Rough greenish patina. Ketumala, feet and part of the lower garment missing.
