In the original silk lined case. Signed on the avers. Diameter 3.5 cm, weight 17 g.

Following the defeats of the Prussian army by Napoleon's troops in 1806, the royal couple went into exile in Königsberg and Memel in Eastern Prussia, and they were not to return until 23rd December 1809. The people of Berlin received the long-awaited homecomers with overwhelming warmth, both on arrival at the palace and during an evening drive through the festively illuminated city.
