A pair of large Empire Berlin silver candelabra

Round bases supporting cylindrical plinths with Classical relief decor. The fluted shafts terminating in Corinthian capitals from which issue three figural branches formed as sphinxes and a central fourth branch formed as a robed figure. H 69 cm, total weight c. 4,400 g.
Marks of Humbert & Sohn, around 1820.
