Smoothed base with blue crossed swords mark. The cross, some beads and the tassels restored. L 19.4 cm.
Late 19th C.

This piece was almost certainly a special commission, possibly made as an imperial gift.

Provenance

Estate of Dr. Bernhard Eibes. Originating by repute from the estate of his great-grandfather, who was employed as a lawyer by Emperor Wilhelm II.
