A Victorian 14k gold and coloured sapphire brooch designed as a pair of connected hearts.

Cluster set with a yellow and a blue heart shaped sapphire (each c. 3.80 ct) surrounded by 37 old-cut diamonds (in total c. 1.11 ct; I/J, vs-si). No hallmarks. Replaced tin brooch mount, attached with solder. Two old-cut diamonds replaced with brilliant- and 8/8-cut diamonds. 2.6 x 1.8 cm. Weight 6.57 g.
