A Thuringian porcelain gamepiece box

Oblong box with engraved gilt copper mountings. The lid painted with a scene of courtly figures playing a game in a rocaille surround. The other five outer faces and the inside of the lid with naturalistic flowers. Unmarked. H 4.6. W 12.8, D 6.6 cm.
Attributed to Kloster Veilsdorf, 1760 - 80.
