A Meissen porcelain tête à tête in the original case

Comprised of three vessels and a sugar pot with covers, two cups and saucers. Finely painted with flower garlands hung from pink ribbons. Blue crossed swords mark with star and subsidiary marks 4, BI (possibly the painter's signature), dreher's nos. The teapot handle and the finials of the teapot and milk jug reattached. Red wool lining of the case an older, defective replacement. H coffee pot 15.5 cm, leather case with gilt metal mountings H 17.8, W 46.5, D 31.5 cm.
Late 18th C., decor attributed to Johanna Friedericka Bachmann.
