Eleven-headed and twenty-one-armed Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.

Floating on clouds, each foot on a blue lotus, with eleven Amitabha heads on the head, a third eye on the forehead and attributes in the hands, some of the palms painted with an eye, to both sides of the figure sun and moon. Above the figure a small Buddha Shakyamuni in meditation on a lotus.Ink and colors and thin gold on silk. Stained. Framed and glazed.

The eleven heads symbolize steps on the path to enlightenment and the numerous hands signify the universal nature of the deities compassion.
