An ivory netsuke of Momotarô and his friends. Late 19th century

Momotarô and his friends, a monkey, a pheasant, and a dog, standing around a table with takaramono which they have captured from the demons of Onigashima island, whose two representatives are kneeling next to the table pleading for mercy. Signed Kôsu (Mitsuhina). The himotôshi is a later addition and the drilling has damaged the signature.
