A Sukhothai-style bronze figure of a walking Buddha. Thailand. 14th century or later

Elongated head with even features, snail-like curls cover the head and ushnisha in which a flame ketumala is firmly mounted. The left hand (supplemented) in vitarkamudra, the right hangs down. The upper robe is close to the body, runs below the left arm in a wavy line and ends at the hem in tails, the sanghati is very narrow. Black patina partially with encrustations. Head probably replaced. Firmly mounted on a wooden stand.
