A German 18k gold granulation chrysoprase cultured pearl and emerald brooch.

Solid forged gold brooch of bombé-form foliate design with fine granulation decor. Symmetrically set with eight oval chrysoprase cabochons (largest stone c. 7.19 ct; c. 13.04 10.32 x 7.56 mm), nine drilled cultured pearls (diameter 5.69 mm), a large cultured pearl (diameter 9.54 mm) and ten round emeralds (in total c. 0.50 ct). Can also be worn as a pendant via two hooks on the reverse. Hallmarks on square plaquette: Fineness 750, maker's mark. L 6.5 x 4.7 cm. Weight 53.81 g.
