A French silver ecuelle in a fitted case

Round dish with handles on either side on a shallow stand with gadrooned rim. Engraved with an arms of alliance beneath a laurel crown. In the original gilt embossed case. Diameter of stand 25,4; W of ecuelle 28.2; D 18 cm, total weight 1,227 g.
