A Meissen porcelain teapot with celadon green ground

Model with zoomorphic spout and moulded handle, the original lid with pinecone finial. Painted with Dutch landscapes and a harbour scene in quatrefoil reserves. Blue crossed swords mark, S. in gold (to vessel and lid), dreher's mark presumably that of Johann Caspar Haase. The finial restored. H 9.6 cm.
1730s.
