A pair of low six-panel screens. 17th century

Depicting scenes from the "Genji monogatari", with a group of travelers, a cart, courtiers, and servants and two ladies in a boat (on the right screen) and a courtier watching ladies playing go and an orchestra, dancers and courtly spectators (on the left screen). Ink, colours and gold on paper. Strong traces of age. (2)
