A Singhalese bronze figure of a standing Buddha. Late Kandya period (1480-1815)

In two parts, but stuck together, standing on a round contoured base, the right hand raised in vitarkamudra, the left hanging down and grasping the hem of the robe, the head with large protruding ears surmounted by a flame (siraspata), the uttarasangha falling in fine undulating folds.
