A large tobacco set. Second half 19th century

Comprising a punched leather tabako-ire with a huge copper alloy kanagu with Danuma ningyo, head with a tongue sticking out, and paper maché dog, the reverse engraved with other toys typical of Edo, the leather kiseruzutsu en suite, traces of use, ten silver chains with a pendant huge ivory manjū carved with a dragon. Two cracks.
