"The Church-Goer" after Louis Ammy Blanc

Louis Ammy Blanc, who came from a Huguenot family and was born in Berlin in 1810, created two known versions of the painting on which this glass pane is based. One from 1834 is now in the Lower Saxony State Museum in Hanover, the second, from 1837, is in the Rheinisches Landsemuseum in Bonn. The still unfinished Cologne Cathedral can be seen in the background.
