A pair of Berlin KPM bronze-mounted porcelain candelabra

Porcelain, coloured overglaze decoration, gilding, fire-gilded bronze. Model no. 3157, fired in several parts and screw-mounted. Five-flame candelabra with twisting foliate ormolu branches and finely painted floral decor in "weichmalerei" technique. Blue sceptre mark and W (?), red imperial orb mark, impressed mark 157, V and V, 72 in enamel red. With chips and retouches, several of the drip pans restored. H 61 cm.
Model produced in 1885 after a Rococo design from 1769, produced before 1900.
