A pair of Berlin KPM porcelain vases with 'weichmalerei' decor

Model no. 3140. Rocaille feet surmounted by a female relief bust and a flying dove on the reverse. Richly decorated with garlands of flowers, insects and putti among clouds. Blue sceptre mark with underglaze blue dash, red imperial orb mark, one red stamped mark "MADE IN GERMANY" and signature "K. Jung" in iron red, pressnummer 140. The upper rim and one wing of the dove restored on the vase with the allegory of the night. Breakages to both wings of the dove, a chip and a crack to the lower front edge of the vase with the day motif. H 48.9, D 28 cm.
