A German one of a kind coloured Biwa pearl necklace with a splendid large 18k gold pearl and coloured gemstone pendant.
Designed as a strand of 24 natural coloured Biwa pearls alternating with gold rings, with push-in clasp. In the centre a large hinged pectoral pendant made from white gold with four finely granulated droplet motifs, symmetrically set with an oval peridot (6.0 ct), two oval bottle-green Brazilian tourmalines (together 2.87 ct), three rose-coloured tourmaline carrés (together 2.45 ct), an oval beryl-coloured citrine (31.75 ct), two oval andalusites (together 4.76 ct), an oval fire opal (1.15 ct), two rectangular precious topazes (together 1.37 ct), an oval yellow sapphire (3.15 ct), four chrome diopside drops (together 3 ct), a green sapphire drop (4.2 ct) and eight small white and rose-coloured cultured pearls (diameter 4.0 mm). Suspending a rose-coloured cultured pearl droplet (ca. 2 x 6.0 x 6.0 mm). Hallmarks: Fineness 750, crescent moon and crown, maker's mark. L Necklace 42 cm. Pendant H 13.5 cm. Total weight 182.74 g.
