An Italian one of a kind bicolour gold necklace with pendant.

One of a kind piece. Chain with elongated links suspending a textured cylindrical bi-colour gold pendant with an abstract relief and a mobile tassel ("tubicini mobili"). Not hallmarked. Pendant H 17.5 cm. Chain L 71 cm. Total weight 164.26 g. Original red felt case with gold-stamped artist's name.

A total of four versions of this necklace were created in 1969. They are based on a design drawing by the artist from 1967 (ink on tracing paper and cardboard, 32 × 23 cm, DG/67/3).

Acquired on 14th November 1972 from Galerie Stangl, Munich (confirmation of purchase from the gallery dated 24.7.1984 enclosed).
