A Neoclassical 18k gold and shell cameo necklace.

Designed as a graduated strand of eleven shell cameos (ca. 16.60 x 11.43 x - ca. 24.90 x 18.16 mm), finely carved with mythological and romantic motifs, in bezel settings with floral designs connected by three chains. The delicate box clasp formed as an acanthus palmette, with gilded snap closure. Not hallmarked. L 43 cm. Weight 41.0 g. Comes with red leather case marked Kunsthandel Faehte.
