A magnificent Hanau silver hunting centrepiece

The feet formed as models of St. George on horseback supporting a round gadrooned bowl and a figure of St. Hubert with the stag on an earth mound base. The feet and rim of the bowl set with foil backed garnet coloured paste stones. H 48; diameter 58 cm, weight approx. 6,990 g.
Marks of Jean Louis Schlingloff, around 1903.
