A pair of octagonal Meissen porcelain dishes with brocade motifs

Painted with a rock, bird and waterfall motif in an arched reserve, the border with phoenix designs reserved on overlapping fields of foliate Chinoiserie motifs. The underside of the rim with branches in underglaze blue, iron red flowers and gilt accents. Blue crossed swords mark with blue painter's mark. Diameter 23.8 cm.
