Oil on panel. 70 x 54 cm.

This portrait of a woman can be attributed to the circle of Anthonie van Ravesteyn on stylistic grounds. This is supported by the placement of the relatively large figure and the way in which it corresponds with the picture plane. The woman's clothing dates the portrait to around 1630. The costume and jewellery are remarkably well preserved.
