Es handelt sich um ca. 1847, während Schwinds Frankfurter Zeit, entstandene Entwürfe für eine Raumdekoration. Ein zweiter Zyklus mit Amoretten befindet sich im Städel'schen Kunstinstitut, Frankfurt/Main.
