Wood sculpture. Alder wood, the honeycombed structured and highly shiney surface worked over with black-gray graphite. Height 47 cm. Monogrammed (scratched) M St on the back of the plinth at left. On the bottom twice inscribed "Milly Steger" and dated "um 1930," and with the inventory number of the Galerie Nierendorf. - Evenly darkened, with a restored crack on the back.
