Vintage gelatin silver print. 24 x 19 cm. Mounted on original cardboard 41,9 x 29 cm, there signed in pencil, dated and dedicated in black ink in the lower right. - The print with slight oxidation mirroring.

Harald Kreutzberg (1902-1968), who studied dance with Mary Wigman in Dresden, was associated as principal dancer to different german companies before he was discovered by Max Reinhardt in 1927. He had great success in the USA of the 1930s with his own choreographies as most popular representative of German Dance. In 1934 he went on a world tour through Hawaii, Japan, the USSR, Vienna and Berlin together with the dancer Ruth Page.
