11 platinum prints, printed 1907-08. Varying sizes from 12,1 x 19,9 cm to 15,5 x 20,7 cm. Each print signed in pencil in an unknown hand on the verso. Each print mounted under a mat. In a black linen box.

The photographs were probably taken during the "Younghusband-Mission" 1903-04, accompanied by the british administration official and amateur photographer Jean Claude White. From 1905 onwards Whites photographs were distributed by the publisher "Johnston & Hoffmann", Calcutta.

The motifs: Significant monuments and landscapes in Tibet, among others the monasteries Samding and Sera, Lalhu, the Valley of the Kyi Chu, the Potola palace, Jokhang and Kangma.
