We would like to thank the Henry Moore Foundation, Much Hadham, for kind information confirming the authenticity. Contrary to the information in the catalogue raisonné, only 8 bronzes were cast, not 9. Henry Moore only began to sign his bronzes in 1961 (letter from the artist to the previous owner, dated January 16, 1981, enclosed in copy).
