THE BAPTISM OF A FEMALE SAINT
Wood, carved from two parts, remains of polychromy with large areas probably retouched in the 19th century. Silhouetted relief depicting a scene from the life of a saint. A bishop blesses the kneeling figure, an altar and a baptismal font in the background. The baptismal font is surrounded by further figures, among these a crowned king. The joint of the two parts visible to the left of the bishop. With wear and losses. 91 x 79 x 7 cm.
