Mahogany and bois de rose on mahogany and oak, papier mache, paper, leather, gilt bronze and enamel-painted porcelain. French pendulum movement with half hourly strike to a bell, apertures for the weeks, months and seconds as well as a barometer. With 12 drawers and concealed compartments to the lower section. Signed to the dial: Vaillant à Paris. Restored over minor shrinkage cracks, one porcelain plaque cracked. H 174, W 78, D 35 cm.
