Oil on canvas 67 x 94.5 cm With original artist's frame. Signed 'KLEINT' lower left, dated '42' lower right. On reverse of the stretcher titled 'Ortszeichen'. - Strecher pushing through. Some small rubbing marks. Lower margin with two small water stains.
The painting from 1942 was worked over by the artist in 1981. Kleint had already created a first, much larger version of this composition in 1942 (see Kleint/Maas 153).
