A provincial Bundi Barahmasa painting. Early 19th century

A provincial Bundi Barahmasa painting, folio no. 9, inscribed asarh mahina, the month ashadha (June-July). A Nayika and Krishna sit in a palace, she is pointing to an approaching lady, in the lower part an ascetic in a grotto and Vishnu on a lotus above a pond, his feet are massaged by his wife. Ink, colours and a little gold on paper. A few abrasions to the border. Early 19th century.
