A probably North Italian high relief depiction of the Virgin and Child with Saint John the Baptist, first half 17th century. Muttergottes mit Kind und dem Johannesknaben

Probably fruitwood.. The Virgin is shown enthroned in an interior with the Christ Child standing on Her knee. The young John the Baptist embraces the Child, and His attribute is depicted to the right by a window.
With minor cracks and small losses, probably due to insect damage, partially glued. Set into a wooden frame. 16 x 14.5 x 3.5 cm.
