Book with 48 lithographs, 25 of which in colour (1 illustrating the cover) Up to 35.4 x 26.2 cm The issue of “Verve“ vol, X, no. 37 and 38 shows reproductions of drawings with biblical motifs which Chagall made in 1958/59. Chagall created a total of 26 black and white lithographs for the issue (cf. Mourlot 278-280), of which 23 were published alongside the 24 in colour. Published by Tériade, Paris 1960. The lithographs printed by Mourlot Frères, Paris. - The margins slightly browned. The edges of the cover with slight signs of wear.
