A crisp, finely chased bust cast in two connected pieces. A bust of the young Archduke in the style of an Ancient Roman portrait. H 28 cm.
Probably Komarau foundry in Bohemia, 1st quarter 19th C.

The Austrian Archduke Franz Carl Joseph (1802 - 1878) renounced the throne in favour of his son Franz Joseph I.
