An early Meissen porcelain teabowl and saucer with "kauffahrtei" decor.

The finely painted scenes framed by gilt cartouches hung with delicate foliate decor, "indianische blumen" to the underside of the saucer and the inside of the cup. Both pieces with crossed swords mark and gold painter's mark V, dreher's mark of Johann Martin Kittel jun. Diameter of saucer 10.5 cm.
