Probably German 17th century

A 17th century, presumably German ivory medallion with a depiction of God.

The reverse flattened. A half-figure depiction of God emerging from a cloud bank wearing a papal tiara, holding a globe and with His right hand raised in blessing. The lower section of the relief bears a dove symbolising the holy spirit
With six small drilled holes along the edge. Yellowed. Height 4.0 cm.
